There's nothing to build. These aren't Iraqi people. This is Iran. A population that will have that country humming along in no time if they can get rid of the Mullahs.

It’s the right time to strike and remove the mullahs. They are cornered. Personally, I say we arm the protestors while also making massive strikes on their military and leadership.

Nobody knows, but those people aren't going back to the Islamists. The economy is gone.

I can’t imagine those sanctions being lifted after an attack until there is some type of stability. ‘Freedom’ might not seem that way to them for a long time.

What I believe was the final straw that is not discussed enough is the impending abandoned Capitol city.
Citizens are asking " if we trust you to handle God and Country why are you two allowing Teheran to dry up?"

The uprisings and killing of civilians has made them internally weaker than ever before. Israel already handled the external weakness.

True but Iran has built up its ballistic missile capability since the summer. They have likely been supplied with ballistic missiles from China and Russia as well. If the military thinks that more time to build up our defenses in the region is needed then waiting is ok. The amount of anger the protesters demonstrated or the regime's weakness is not going to change by waiting a few days to weeks. Plus we might need more naval assets in the area to keep the Straits of Hormuz open or reopen them quickly in order to keep oil prices from going up bigly.

Taco Trump.
The USA never attacks during the week. It is bad for the stock market and Trump prefers the quaint little situation room at Mar a Lago to the PEOC due to their being less chances of leaks to the press.

Very true. They won’t go down easily. They will fire hundreds of missiles at our regional bases. But I have the feeling most bases in Jordan, at sea, or further will be unreachable. The base in Qatar will likely be abandoned.
The AD assets in place will also help out a lot more than in the 12 day war.
I just see this as a chance to finally purge the last bastion of Islamic terrorism and set the region up for lasting peace. Seeing Venezuela also play ball will allow us to focus our energy on China and domestic policy. Russia is really not a threat. The Europeans have received the message and are arming up.

On November 4, 1979, Iranian students stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, taking 66 Americans hostage. This event marked the beginning of a 444-day crisis .

Also, on June 8th, 1967, the USS Liberty, while clearly flying the U.S. flag in international waters, had their communications jammed and then were attacked by air and by sea for over two hours, resulting in over 200 casualties including 34 deaths.

I hope the CIA kept a database on every single one of those “students.”

These negotiations have to be the current regime leaving and stopping the nuclear weapon program.

The US delegation is essentially sitting down with Iran out of respect for the friendly Arab nations. Aside from completely giving the country up, the Iranian regime can't make a deal that would satisfy the United States regarding the amount of people they've killed
When it eventually pops off, it's going to be massive.
No need to sugarcoat it. This big of an opportunity not only for the world, but for Iranian people, has not been available like this, ever.
And the Iranian regime has only themselves to blame for it. They've killed 10s of thousands unarmed civilians. Ran them down in the streets.
They are toast.

Our recent nation building after nation wrecking record is not very good.

I feel pretty confident the Iranians won't need much of our nation building
They are completey capable of creating a functioning society by themselves
