None of that matters... what matters is indoctrinating children with critical race theory and trans rights.

The same demographic bringing the standards of education down in this country is the same demographic doing the most to bring the standard of life down in this country on a daily basis and ruin this nation.

I listened to NPR do a big piece on this yesterday...

"In the wake of drastic cuts to education by the Trump Administration, students fall further behind with new lows in scores..."

Didn't realize Blumpf has been in charge since 1992.

Shouldn't NPR be happy since reading and math are white supremacist constructs?

yall all bitching over something that really isnt a problem. US Asians and white students are some of the highest performing students in the world, in fact US Asians are the highest

one of the main reasons our scores overall are falling is because of our dumbass immigration policy. When you import the third world, you get third world testing results.

yea i dont like teaching unions either and certainly a change is needed and the department of education is worthless but the problem...like housing and many others goes back to immigration period.

not to mention how the immigration imports more "class disruptors" who have zero desire to learn and cause disruptions and take up resources from those that do because of our system of catering to the lowest common denominator.

anyways, calm down...American Asians and whites are just fine and will remain on top.

Meanwhile….some states that resisted common core and remote learning are actually improving.

common core isnt the problem. and in fact most really smart people in math do numbers that away

again the problems come down to immigration and then black culture which looks down on education.

but if you just stop importing the 3rd world...the overall scores go up.

Blow up the department of Ed. Give it back to the states.

It isn't going to happen. It was supposed to, but it isn't going to.

The DoE is far too useful a tool for advancing and implementing the political will and agenda of the team with the ball. It wields too much power to sway the overall direction and landscape of education to simply kill it.

Now, Donald and crew ran on defunding and shutting down the DoE. They had grand plans, even put Linda in charge with specific orders to kill it. Yet, the administration has made great use of the power the department wields, influencing nearly every level of education in our country.

I will maintain that if when Trump's second term comes to an end and the Departmenr of Education still exists, in any capacity, as a government entity, it will will have been an incredible failure. Congress must kill the DoE with legislation. If it is left with a single breath in its body it will be revived.

The math problems may be due to calculators. Kids rely on their cell phones instead of learning to do simple math in their heads. I played golf with a 20-something guy with a white collar job who took out his phone to add up his score. I asked him if he could add 18 single digits in his head and he said 'No.'

All these AI bots and shortcut websites can do every single homework assignment for any person in school at virtually any level.

Critical thinking is a thing of the past. Period.

GOD DAMN IT!!!

will yall just read the damn graph i posted!!!!

it isnt because of no child left behind, calculators or the dept of education(sucks dick btw)

its because of immigration!!

the math is the mother fricking math! bottom line is

American of Asian decent test better than all other countries.

American whites score better than all countries other than Singapore, Japan and Taiwan. All countries that are Mono-ethic, Asian and traditionally have very high IQ scores along with rigorous education and cultures that value education over all other things.

Again LOOK AT THE GRAPH!!! its a damn immigration problem. we continue to import the 3rd world, they test like the third world and it dilutes the scores of Asian and White students.

Zach I was in a bar and this college girl was at the bar writing something, she was trying to add 3 digits on a piece of paper and she could not figure out how to "carry" to the second column. She whipped out her phone to complete it.

Then she asked for a Guiness and the bartender told her it was 12 bucks (not quite 2 US) she complained and he said I will give you two for 25 and she just gushed a thank you..............

Where were these girls when I was younger

What power does the Department of Education wield over the curriculum used in classrooms? It doesn’t dictate that at all. States and individual school districts or charter schools determine their curriculum.
