Anyone with a lick of gun sense knows about the issue with the Sig P320. Your boy should have known that about his own weapon.
And let’s not forget the fact that HE ENGAGED the officers.

The lesson here is to not wrestle with law enforcement. You’re putting your life in danger. Alex Pretti was an idiot. Didn’t deserve to die, but his actions caused his life to end.

Definitely not complying but at no point did he have the weapon in his hand. It was holstered on his side until the grey shirt man unholstered it and removed it from his person.. The dead guy was foolish to bring a handgun into a charged atmosphere like that but let’s stick to the facts.

This is not unprecedented with Sigs.
It’s a known enough defect that at this point I almost question if Sig is a secret front for leftist propaganda using their defective weapon to build case load against 2A continuance.
It’s that bad and that unexplainable.

My boy?
I have been pretty clear that I think he unnecessarily injected himself into the situation, which was dumb to do be even more dumb when you are conceal carrying as he was and also clear that the agents were forced into a split second desicion

Sig has been sued multiple times over this gun.
I don’t know a single LEO that would carry it

Sigs have these trigger issues for a long time. They are not for novices. This Pretti guy was most likely to be very inexperienced with fire arms, along with injecting himself in the middle of ICE agents.
The question I have regarding the nurse having a gun - has a purchase record been released? How recent did he purchase/receive said gun? Did he have any weapons training, or just wanted a gun ASAP to play vigilante? If it was fueled by social media exposure and following the voices of people he aligned with (can't presently align since, well....) then there's another problem to deal with. Some people are just too brainwashed, either side, and think they're saving the world. All to protect an illegal alien.

It definitely contributed to the death of this guy. Wrongful death suit probably on its way. The crazy part is that the morons ran the cops and investigators out of there and destroyed the crime scene and more than likely any evidence of an accidental discharge

That's what the theory is
If so, the result is both tragic and completely acceptable.

What are those?
Creating the unnecessary situation by shoving the woman
Overreacting to Pretti coming to her aide
Accidental discharge of the weapon

You’re not a serious person. The “fools” are just trying to figure out what exactly happened.

If you fight with and obstruct ICE agent's in doing their duty, you deserve whatever you get.

Damn that gun is not safe to carry or even own if it just likes to go off with a little slide bump.
I know I hate carrying with a live one in the chamber and it may cost me one day but at least I don't have to worry about an accidental discharge.

The gun he was carrying was NOT A P230. It was a P226 Compact/Carry model. Not known for the accidental discharge issues.
ETA: I'll stand corrected on the above. Apparently it was a 230 with some mods, and not a 226. My bad. But the following still stands.
Also, the latest generation of 230s (the "X" models) have addressed and corrected the issue of the first-gens. I wouldn't trust my life to this thing as my EDC if I couldn't completely rely upon it. I even slapped it on a cheap M17 frame to drop test it multiple times, and it's as safe as anything.
Ignore the lint. It's been under my arm all day and it's pretty damn cold out there.

If these ICE agents has waived these guys into the streets and welcomed them as the Capitol Police did on January 6, I would agree.
Also no evidence that the people doing harm here were right wing plants like there were left wing plants on Jan 6.

Event summary:
- Agents told people to move away.
- They were there to arrest an illegal wanted for significant criminal activity, specifically:
Domestic assault
Intentional infliction of bodily harm
Disorderly conduct
Driving without a valid license
- Agents warned BYSTANDERS & protesters to "move away" & "stand back."
- One woman decides not to listen and get pushed down by authorities
- Alex Pretti ignores the same commands to "move away" & "stand back" to assist the woman.
- As a result of both ignoring commands and intervening (while OC) he was disarmed causing chaos and his gun goes off by the LEO who took it from him in a struggle.
- Alex Pretti dies from being shot by LEOs.
All of this could have been avoided by:
1. Stop illegals from coming in.
2. Have protestors/bystanders remain at least 100ft from armed LEO's doing their jobs.
3. Not finding out from fricking around.
Case closed.

I've listened to the video and the first shot is definitely different than the rest.
But, what are the odds?
