One of the lesser known accomplishments is his appointing of judges. With tons of vacancies to fill, he is going young and conservative for these lifetime positions and is shaping the courts in his own image. This will pay off for a long time.

It would be a TL:DR post.

A supreme.

Major tax reform.

A resurgence of manufacturing jobs.

A reduced number of migrants taken in.

The most important thing... was shattering the illusion of a free press. Most normal people have woken up, and now realize that most of our free press just spews democrat propaganda, 24/7.

That's not even remotely true. Obama's ICE deported FAR fewer immigrants who made it past the border, but began counting "turnbacks" as deportations to artificially inflate that number. Hundreds of thousands of illegals who were simply picked up within a few miles of the border, fingerprinted, and sent back over were counted as Obama deportations to cover the fact that ICE had been ordered not to pursue immigrants who made it safely inside the US.

Actual deportations of illegals within the US dropped by half under Obama.

As much as I'd like to give you the benefit of a doubt I'm going to need some sort of citation

Smells like one of those "fake news" type of things

Trump has punched a bully in the nose that has never been punched before - the media. It's been most enjoyable. Not a major accomplishment but one of the more enjoyable things for me.

Raising the stakes on the illegal alien invasion. Increased deportations.

Obama deported more in each year than Trump has. He is actually pretty weak on deportation

It's real. They started fingerprinting them under Bush II so they'd have a record when they were caught again. Obama started counting them as regular deportations in 2009, I believe.

Another poster already linked Snopes for it, but I can give you an LA Times citation, as well.

quote:

Expulsions of people who are settled and working in the United States have fallen steadily since his first year in office, and are down more than 40% since 2009.

That was in 2014. In 2015, the administration had ICE change focus and real deportations cratered even further.

quote:

On the other side of the ledger, the number of people deported at or near the border has gone up — primarily as a result of changing who gets counted in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency's deportation statistics.

quote:

The vast majority of those border crossers would not have been treated as formal deportations under most previous administrations. If all removals were tallied, the total sent back to Mexico each year would have been far higher under those previous administrations than it is now.

Not only that, but Obama lowered the debt from 9.5 trillion to 20 trillion in 8 years. The haters will try to make that out as a bad thing because they're racist.

You must have loved Obamas foreign policy failure of appeasement.

Obama’s deportation numbers are inflated because his administration changed the way they counted the numbers. He counted those turned away at the border as a deportation. No one before or since has counted them that way

Much like he bribed law enforcement to not arrest teens to lower high school crime rates?

Shocked. Crooked.
