It truly has to be a hormone issue. The term "soy boy" exists for a reason. I would bet everything I have that there is a biological difference in women who are far left leaning, not to mention a higher rate of prescriptions for Xanax and SSRI's.
This is obviously anecdotal to my life experience, but from my perspective, the women in my life who lean the furthest left have myriad mental health issues going on, specifically off the charts anxiety that presents as being overemotional and reactive about nearly everything.
I think the majority of these people mean well and feel that their extreme empathy is a virtue rather than a product of being scared of everything, thus constantly searching for a boogeyman and a victim.
This is why there is a continuously flowing undercurrent of man vs. woman, which is the antithesis of how God created us. Conservative Christian women read Proverbs 31 and view it as our instruction manual while they view it as prison duty.
