The following is from an interview with Fiona Hill in 2021 describing the situation back in 2019 published by the Council on Foreign Relations:

If she and CFR had their way, we'd be in a hot war with Russia right now.

Especially if HRC had won in 2016.

Terrible example, dude. Just terrible.

Which of those were unacceptable in your view?

The ones where we were using our defense forces to do something besides defend us.

Or maybe you thought those were all cases of OUR freedoms being defended.

When was the last time our armed services fought for our freedoms?

Sometimes you have to show the stick. This could turn into a game of dominoes. Cuba has been leaching off Venezuela. Watch Cuba.

He kept his word to protect America, he took out a leading narco-terrorist. Why couldn't you demonstrate an IQ above room temperature?

Address the point: why do we spend so much money for our armed services to always be fighting for other peoples' freedoms?

When was the last time they fought for ours?

Ask the people of Venezuela if they have peace now

They still have the same government and all the same problems... possibly more if Civil War and struggles for control break out.

As everyone here is pointing out, it wasn't an "invasion," it was a surgical extraction... there are no U.S. forces in the country. To "take control" there would have to be an invasion... and that means dealing with guerrilla warfare in a big, mountainous country. Rubio just announced we're not taking control.

So, no more Maduro (and that is not a bad thing)... but nothing will change there for decades. They got to the natural trouble spot in an undiversified Petrostate economy, which after the initial build-out phases, creates a wealthy group of people at the top and an increasingly impoverished population, unnecessary in the economy, at the bottom (ask Russia... or, Louisiana).

We won't be happy with the political opposition there, either... because every option depends on nationalization of the oil industry... it's the only thing they have.

Are we talking about the man that just seized the guy that was suppressing the Nobel prize winner for peace's home country. That she was forced to flee from?

I think that ranks right up there with being the president pf peace. At least thats what the Nobel winner claimed when she dedicated her prize to Trump

Not a deep thinker, are you?

Why should the board answer someone that's so stupid to think that peace can always and only be maintained with harsh words and never action?

We didn't invade anyone, dumbass. We snatched a dictator out of his house. I don't see US Marines on patrols through Caracas anywhere, do you?

Even your critique about our interest in their oil is wrong as American companies were the ones who set up most of Venezuela's industry in the first place, so yeah even if this is JUST about oil, well they do owe us.

But this is primarily about weakening China, the world's largest importer of oil and who not only bought tons of oil from Venezuela but around 86% of all of their weapon sales to Central & South America went specifically to Venezuela. You're too retarded to know this, but it's not a good idea to have a CCP backed Socialist Dictator practically on your doorstep. China wants to squeeze us when it comes to minerals, they're about to enjoy an oil shortage.

But any type of thinking that goes beyond your immediate pussy emotions are apparently too complicated for your brain to simultaneously process.

I would suggest that economic freedom (largely) allows for socioeconomic mobility.

Oil, and rare earth elements, allow for that. Peace through strength has real world applications. Sometimes it makes for uncomfortable situations.

That being said, did you make the device that you typed you post on? No? Well, capitalism is like that. Those supply chains are vital to our stability. Oil is vital to those supply chains.

This isn’t difficult, unless you are a hypocrite.

Now…answer my question:

which branch of the Cuz’s military did you serve in?

I just wish we could come up with some sort of sound monetary system where we didn't have to constantly police the world to strong arm them into using our worthless dollars.

It’s all relative.

The dollar has value compared to many other (most) currencies.

That allows for us to benefit in terms of sourcing goods and services globally. The question becomes, at what cost to the domestic job market. It is a balancing act (or should be).

Just my .02.

Must be a sad existence to be in such need of a male leader in your life that you’re scared to question anything they do or think for yourself
