If tweet fails to load, click here. - Texas has donated over $13 million to Islamic mosques and community groups around the entire state of Texas
- The Texas Muslims Women Foundation received $11,068,281
- Iman Academy received $306,244
- The Islamic Education Center of Houston received $485,601
- Clear Lake Islamic Center, they received $86,286
- The Islamic Alul Baot Association received $101,000
- The Islamic Association of Fort Worth received $15,163
- The Islamic Center in Brushy Creek received $99,417
- The Islamic Center of Greater Austin received $149,499
- The Islamic Center of Lake Travis received $70,400
- The Islamic Center of Longview, with a small one, received $1,798
- The Islamic Center of Round Rock received $130,000
- The Islamic Education Institute of Texas received $191,850
- The Islamic Society of Greater Houston received $66,597
- The MAS Katy Center received $91,862
- The Muslim Cemetery received $48,068
- The Muslim Community Center of Human Services received $476,774
- he Nigerian Muslim Association of Dallas received $326
For a whopping total of 18 groups that got paid $13,404,413.
Now, out of these 18 groups in the entire state of Texas, just remember that there's 67 mosques alone in the Greater North Texas area.”
...........
Clear Lake Islamic Center’s imams praised Hamas’ Oct 7 attacks, yet still pocketed $86K. Even the Muslim Community Center of Human Services, funded $476K, partners with terror-tied charities.
This isn’t about religious freedom—it’s about subsidizing ideologies that oppose American values. Federal grants funneled through Texas agencies bypass proper vetting, prioritizing political correctness over national security.
Meanwhile, veterans’ programs and border security get scraps. Time to audit every dime and redirect funds to priorities that protect citizens, not foreign extremists.

Trump's been in office for a while now. Conservatives reigning supreme in Texas. WTF is going on?

What did he do to allow it? How could he prevent it? Texas' success has made it attractive to tech.

Technically religious groups cannot spend tax money for religious purposes. They can only spend it for charity and the charity must serve ALL citizens (you cannot say this charity is only for Muslims).
From what I understand the Muslim center that got $11 million runs a shelter for women who get beat up (oh the irony). If they truly do leave the shelter open for everyone, they are in the clear.
Also, you cannot "preach" with government money. You cannot use the shelter as a way to try and convert people. It must remain secular.
I don't like it, but that's the way it works for Christian charities and all the rest.
Personally I hate all of these 501 c3's. it should not be the government's job to be a charity service. If people want to run charities with private money, have at it.

Regardless of whether it’s federal or state funding, it’s totally unnecessary. I don’t understand why government is even doing this, especially in Texas let alone anywhere else. I would have no problem whatsoever if Iran’s government funded mosques and other Islamic institutions in their country, but for any federal, state, or local funding for the same in the United States is abhorrent.
