Thanks

I apologize for being blunt as I’m rather ignorant, but what was stressful about being a World Cup reporter for the USA? You go to games and write about them? Meeting deadlines? He was very experienced?

He’s his own boss and I suspect he asked more of himself than any editor would ever ask of an employee.
Lots of successful self-starters are like that.
A 22 year old at an investment bank died with no drugs in his system a few years ago. He was sleeping 2-3 hours a day and working 6 am to 1 am to impress his bosses (who probably has no idea he was staying up so late).
I can see Wahl demanding that he write detailed features every day while traveling all over the place and sleeping terrible hours/
Or he was poisoned.

And its not like he was writing "fluff" pieces. He was doing investigative journalism in a Middle Eastern country. Regardless of your thought on what he was writing about (the "frick around & find out" crew), this is a terribly sad story

Exactly and he is 48 and been in the business for 25 years. So everyday is stressful enough to post about it? Gtfo with this. He was a sports reporter, it’s not like he was reporting on the front lines of a war. Give me a break on everyone’s jobs being stressful because they have to produce something.

The removing of the gay flag was to protect people against attacks from the citizenry.
Dude was probably poisoned.

You realize he wasn’t actually playing right? Explain what’s so stressful about watching a Fricking game and writing about it for a 48 year old that’s been doing it for 25 years? If your job that’s literally the exact same for 25 years is still stressful after 25 years then you are in the wrong line of work, not sorry.
I’m tired of everyone thinking their job is hard or stressful. Guy literally watches sports and reports on it. shite doesn’t get much easier.

If you’re not feeling stress you’re probably not good at what you do, not sorry

Bronchitis seems a bit weak, but maybe it hits different in mideast climates?
He probably didn’t have bronchitis. A lot of people come into the ER with upper respiratory illness and call it bronchitis- it usually is not. Again my money is on a PE but pneumonia or weird Middle East shite is of course on the differential.

So a blood clot.
I assume they’ll do an autopsy in the U.S. which will prove one way or another whether foul play was involved?

I think it's safe to assume that foul play wasn't involved at this point.

Long travel is a major risk factor. Most but not all have chest pain. He would probably feel very short of breath. You can get a low grade fever. Possibly why he thought he had a cold or bronchitis.

They are saying it was Covid shot on OT, but they say everyone who is under 50 that dies was from Covid shot
Posted on 12/11/22 at 5:44 am to TutHillTiger
They also say that eating gas station sushi and getting the runs is because of the shot.

Sounds on par for the OT.

Chris Wittyngham, who cohosted on Grant’s podcast, did a nice tribute to him in the last episode of Futbol with Grant Wahl. It’s tough to listen to, as Chris starts to break down in the end. LINK

Wahl’s brother is tweeting again. Says no foul play or pulmonary embolism
