Why keep Frank? I get the recruiting part but that shot doesn't matter as much now with the $$$$. The offensive line was a problem this year but what RB has he developed since he came back here. We can't run the ball and our backs weigh 185 pounds. I don't want 1 coach back from the offensive staff.

Makes sense. Kiffin and staff need to hit the ground running recruiting wise. No school/coach should be dumb enough to allow a coach to recruit for another school while still under contract. (Like Chavis when he went to A&M.)

Looks like the OL and WR coaches are also coming. OL has been a very mixed bag under Kiffin. WR play has been excellent but this coach has only been here for 2 years under it.

Frank and Corey still matter in LA, and that matters in recruiting.
It’s simple math. Other than the top recruits in a cycle, recruiting and retention of key recruits is cheaper than portal shopping. It’s a higher market and we all know we have a great recruiting ground to operate in in LA.
By continuing to recruit in the top 10 and retaining starters and key reserves and young players (which we have been doing well under BK), you leave more funds available for big game hunting in the portal, rather than having to spread it across double digit players yearly like we had to last year.

Keeping Frank gives us open doors at all the NO schools, and many others. Give him a recruiting/Asst. GM role, which still allows him on the sidelines and in the locker room. We should hope ALL the defensive staff stays.
