When they say the same offer, I wonder if that includes assistants and staff salaries plus player money?

That's not how it works. Detailed offers aren't made until there is mutual agreement on both sides. All 3 schools can offer the same deal if they wanted to. All 3 schools may have ballparked a similar deal generally speaking during informal talks. However, the fact that a specific contract exists means that as of right now, LSU is the destination. Now, if an issue arises during the I-dotting and T-crossing part of the negotiation, then all is fair game again, but as of right now there would be only one offer.

That’s really not news. It was always known OM would match and Florida would bump to match.
Kiffin will be making decision on what HE (not any message board genius for any school posts) views as the best job, and Kiffin’s opinion is reflective of what coaches view as the best job.

I just found out today that the guy who lived across the street from me for about 3 years is one of the big booster families for Ole Miss. They aren’t BIG money, but they’re what I’d consider tier 2. They donate through their business to Ole Miss each year.
We’re cordial, at best. Ive only talked to him once since I moved 3 years ago. We send his kid a bday present and they send ours one each year. That’s about it. I am very good friends with several other OM alums that went to high school him and know his family well. They’re the ones who told me how involved they are. They’re all family friends from the fathers going to Ole Miss together. So, a source through a source. Trust me, I get it. I posted about golfing with these earlier today, actually.
They said the dad told them all Ole Miss has put their absolute best offer on the table for Kiffin. They believe it’s enough and Kiffin told them he wants to “announce on his own time”. They’re very confident that he’s staying, but I didn’t buy it. They’re wishcasting at this point.
All it told me is all 3 programs, including the money people, still think Kiffin is their guy.

Why is Ole Miss interviewing coaches for head coaching position? They get to talk to Lane all the time. They know best what’s going on. He’s gone.
