NIL “parity” aside, LSU is and will always be a far bigger job than Texas Tech. Money can only do so much, especially in the conference they’re in. If he wants the prestige job (which worked on Kiffin), he will take an equal or slightly less offer to come here.

Not worried. This will be an extremely attractive DC job with Lane’s offense balancing things out.

I think we all worry about your typical hyper-offensive focused HC ignoring the defense. Don’t think this will happen here. Lane ain’t stupid.

I want Shiel Wood, if anything, for his name. All jokes aside, he has an impressive resume. Especially the difference he made in the rankings of the defenses he's coached from what they were before to where they were when he left.

What does this board think about Joe Rossi out of Minnesota? He might be a good pick? Not a solid recruiter I dont think but was a 2021 Broyles Award nominee.
