I agree. It’s evident lately our DB’s haven’t been playing up to the standards of DBU

If that was indeed the reason, it works for me.

It applies to both. Problem is cooks has been fired from multiple spots and was an analyst the last 2 years.
How do you explain that?
Texas Tech brought in a co-DC in 2020 who coaches DBs which made Cooks the odd man out. Oklahoma brought in a new DC in 2019 and mostly cleaned house on the defensive side of the ball. Both cases seemed to be about failures on the part of the DC as much as anything.

I can get on the radio with a thibodaux accent and call people I don’t know by their first name and spout bull shite just like Mike
I’ve listened to him on the saints since the early 90’s. He has been especially spot on about who the saints should have taken in the draft.
He wanted George over Molden
Corey Dillion over rob Kelly that year.
Shockey over Stallworth
Olson over Meachem
Ryan Kalil over usama young
That’s just a few I mentioned and can remember over the years. He knows his shite. You don’t know what you are talking about.

I mean I know Raymond’s rep is much stronger outside the ops building than inside of it, that’s been bandied about for a bit now.
I think Jenkins wanted to run him off

Good. We needed a fresh start. We went 11-11 in the last two years, why people are insisting on certain parts of that remain on staff is crazy to me.

Everyone should think about this….
Raymond is to recruiting as Brady is to WR coaching/passing game.

He loved the fact that the Oline was held together with duct tape and spit and still managed to improve every week.

1) Davis is under contract for 2 more years.
2) It doesn't take a genius to see the clusterfrick that Davis inherited, and in June no less.
3) Decimated as it was, and with not an over-abundance of talent, Davis did well to help the line actually improve as the season went by.

Go watch Ark secondary play - Cooper is probably a better coach than Raymond
Ron Cooper is an analyst on Alabama's staff no?

I listen to him too but his homerism on coach O was too much. He was all about the “2 years from a national championship” nonsense
Then he said we were likely getting Franklin to replace O.
Otherwise, he’s a good Cajun and I always like a good cajun
