Sounds like a good retirement age to me

Especially with the crazy hours and schedules college coaches have.

The agent has a list of what their clients would and would not consider, and the list is extensive- $, geography, program history, and many other items. Source: connection in a SID at a major program spelled this out for me.

Many openings were likely disqualified out of the gate by said list.

When I hear very abrasive , meaning he demands discipline , I see that as a good thing .

He was perfect for Mississippi State. Could have stayed there 20 years and retired.

Are you his agent? If not then how do you know he did not get some phone calls through his agent. Just maybe he is happy where he is at and wanted to thank them for hiring him. His job is just as good as Tulane and most G 5 schools.

He sucked at Florida, and folks have not forgotten.

Very abrasive and doesn’t connect with players. The culture at Florida was terrible in 2021 and that’s why he was fired. It was more than a bad season. Very lazy recruiter and not willing to recruit at an SEC level.

As a State fan, this 100%

He did create a culture of toughness and discipline though. SloMo destroyed that within two years. Leach was on his way to building it back, but we know what happened.

Because he’s an arrogant prick and it’s going to take a long time for him to wash off the stink of that Florida debacle.

Looks like what our Bauer Sharp would do in a game -- tackle our own RB. He seriously be the worst TE I've seen for LSU

I agree, but you know Sharp at minimum causes a fumble there.

Yeah he probably wouldn’t make that much more money going to another Group team plus he knows how UNLV works (admin) and it wouldn’t really benefit him to go to another Group school.

Wonder if he would jump at Colorado if that job opens up next year.

when Arkansas job opened, they mentioned that if he left in 2025 he would owe a $5 million buyout to UNLV

I always see people saying that he’s an a-hole but he never really came across that way on TV or in press conferences to me. He definitely seems really weird though.

I don’t understand how it happened that quickly. The 2019 team was very good.
