Put me in the camp that hopes Kiffin does pick Florida. This feels like the Lincoln Riley hire all over again, and I hope Gators end up just like USCw.

Florida doesn't have to be good to have the Swamp rocking on a Saturday night. hell, even a saturday afternoon.

I mean its 1A 1B for me. But most the country and media believe LSU to be a better job than both.

BR isn’t great if you are a poor. Kiffin would never have to venture north of I-10 though.

UF has to share those players with more powerhouse programs than the other 2.

-Daughter’s boyfriend on the lsu roster / Could transfer to Florida
-better recruiting base / Florida has the highest Blue Chip ratio
-greater $ support / Debatable
-bigger budget / Incorrect
-bigger name / Only big name in the State
-facilities / I'll give you this one
-we know where Atlanta is / Florida has won more than LSU has played in
-stadium / DV and the Swamp are top 5
-multiple national titles after Lyndon Johnson / UF and LSU tied with 3 since LBJ

I haven’t heard a single person, other than Florida fans, say this.

I think LSU gives him the best change at long, sustained success, but I wouldn't try rating the cities. BR is a $hithole.

Florida has 1 national championship winning coach in the modern era (BCS forward). LSU has 3.

I still think Florida is a top 10 job, but LSU is looked at as the better job.

Do yall have an indoor practice facility yet?

Our facilities beat UF and we have for sure paid more for coaching.

UF is a pretty overrated gig especially now that UGA is your daddy.

Of those 3, which has committed to this new NIL landscape more than the others?

Which has shown to be most willing to give the HC autonomy and whatever they need?

Which has historically been able to bring in the most elite talent?

These are some reasons. But frankly, I agree that Kiffin could be successful at all 3.

It probably boils down to what his preferences are. For example, maybe he’s just ready for a new challenge. That would eliminate Ole Miss. Or, maybe proximity to clear saltwater is important to him. That would be better for Florida. Or, maybe he has designs on being the best to ever do it…and become another Saban. And maybe he views LSU as the best vehicle for that.

Who knows. But it’s certainly a possibility that he picks any of the 3.

My guess is that if LSU or Florida wants him, they better show him he’s the only/primary target. Kiffin has an ego. He’d be just as happy trying to get even over the next decade if a program decides to out him through a process.
