It’s Halloween and I know many people said this movie traumatized them so I thought might as well check it out.
I didn’t find it traumatizing. I found it thrilling. Edge of your seat stuff in all honesty.
Lots of rabbits working together to solve solutions. Loved all the good rabbits. Hated all the bad rabbits.
I felt really bad for the rabbit that had been bullied that got killed by the general as he tried to buy time for his friends
That bird was funny and I’m disappointed “perfect landing” isn’t a meme gif. Not what I expected in the least but found it very enjoyable

one of the better-animated movies
Im a fan
Would hate to see it remade with CGI or AI it was just so much better with the artistic format that was used
Kahar was partial inspiration for Yoda

It is simply a beautiful animated adaptation of a great (children's book?). The intro is outstanding. Watch The Secret of Kells next.

Are you guys talking about the 1978 one or the Netflix one?
Watership Down 1978 is on MAX if you watched it on Netflix and want to compare them.

Read the book if you haven’t. It’s fantastic!

Gets praised justifiably so. However, seeing it as a child vs as an adult, I can see how it would come on a bit strong. Especially in these days.
A true classic.

One of the first "big" books i read as a child. It was a fantastic experience. The whole Fiver dream sequences did freak me out a bit. Bigwig and Keehar for the win.

I have it on dvd.
Loved it as a kid.
Maybe because it’s not a silly, stupid kid’s movie and is actually a movie about adult crises and issues set up as a kids movie?
I remember people saying that they were traumatized by it. The only way that you would be traumatized would be if you were a super soft kid and thought it was gonna be a movie about happy bunnies in a warren.

One of my favorite books as a kid and then became a favorite as an adult. I loved the original movie as well and do remember being scared of General Woundwort as a kid. I remember watching the remake vaguely when it came out but I don’t recall it as an improvement on the original.

I think they use traumatizing in terms of seeing violence in a kids cartoon with what you normally think of fluffy bunnies as children.
Kinda like Black Cauldron.

Snowflake pussies.
I watched it when I was a kid and loved it. I've read the book 4 or five times. It's a top 20 books of all time for me.
SPOILERS
BigWig vs General Woundwort was as heroic a fight as has ever been written. Even with BigWig's youth, strength, and the element of surprise Woundwort was still more savage and would have won if not for the arrival of the dog.
Dammit, now I have to go read it again.

I remember watching it when I was 12/13 over and over and being really sad about the human condition after watching it. At that age you so badly want to believe in Safe World Theory.

It's my favorite book and I love the movie. After a while, they aren't rabbits anymore.

I love the 1978 one but I thought the Netflix version was great too.
