I hope Kellen Moore is the right guy.
Will he be given 100% control of football operations?

I am giving Moore a chance. Can he overcome Loomis and his stupidity? Maybe not? Probably not? All I can do is give him a shot. Dennis Allen was a historically bad coach so I will at least give this young man a chance.

I like the hire. What will be telling is does loomis address the cap situation. Moore nor any coach will be successful without retooling this roster. Should be interesting

Is there some data that shows the quicker you hire a coach, the better the results? Or perhaps a magical date and time for the perfect coaching hire.
Seems to me the Saints hired a coach that was an important piece of winning the Super Bowl two days ago.

Based on candidate's availability, the Saints hired their candidate faster than any other team that had an opening this year

Dennis Allen is a good defensive coordinator , not a good head coach . Not everybody can be a great head coach .

The bill for that is still due. We haven’t paid yet.
2-3 years of paying before you can begin to compete in free agency.
The biggest believers in Moore need to treat year 3 like year 1 and withhold all expectations until year 5.
