This was a MAJOR (2nd Biggest in Russia) OIL REFINERY!
Russia intercepted (shot down) the 2 Incoming Drones before striking the Refinery, but fragments of the 2nd drone landed + struck a large oil storage tank situated on the periphery of the plant.
No casualties.

The source is CTH, which in it's OWN "article" has the sentence "The drones were launched from Ukraine?"
Question mark and all. It's very sensationionalist "reporting" to say the least.

Man you guys don’t keep up with this war, Ukraine has been striking oil depots and refineries for a long time with their own long range drones.
The point of it is to disrupt oil supply to Russias military and cause economic pain seeing as Russia uses that oil to fuel their jets to lob cruise missiles and fuel air bombs at Ukrainian apartments and hospitals.
Nothing new here.

I see no deescalation from Russia, why should Ukraine deescalate from defending itself? Russia has targeted Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, seems common sense and perfectly reasonable for them to respond in kind.

Because Ukraine WILL NEVER WIN THIS WAR!!
It is just extending the inevitable or it can escalate to in include Europe into WW3 and thus dragging the US along with China into this frick up of a war!

That appears to be how this will end, but if the American President was resolute in supporting Ukraine Russia certainly would have been made to collapse. It would have taken some Western “advisers” though.

None. I support President Trump’s efforts to end the war. There is nothing in my previous post that argues otherwise. I simply pointed out a hypothetical case.

There’s a mindset out there that really believed the West would ultimately depose of Putin and usher in “liberal democracy” to Russia by force.
Ukraine has provided a convenient means towards that goal.

Agreed.
I can't stand the midget and think Ukraine has been the center of a lot of the corruption and rot of the USA (both willingly and unwillingly), but if Russia isn't dialing back, neither should Ukraine.
If anything, it will hasten the end of this conflict.
