Otherwise the Yankees-Sox wild card will be the highlight of the playoffs

Don’t understand why people care about these sorts of things. Give me Blue Jays vs. Brewers. MLB had its NY vs. LA wet dream series last year.

Ratings would be lower than Rangers vs. D-backs.

Baseball is fine. NFL is king and no other sport will ever be close again but that doesn't mean baseball is dead and needs the Yankees to be in the World Series to survive. That's a very dramatic take on it.

Blue Jays vs Dodgers would be a killer WS.

Just say you’re a liberal cuck wearing a White Dudes for Kamala shirt. Anybody supporting Canada over America should be deported.

New York is nothing but foreigners and figs. I’m sure your slow arse fits in well there.

Amen to all of this. MLB isn't suddenly going to go bankrupt if none of the biggest markets are playing in the World Series every year.

One of my biggest sports pet peeves is the whole idea of "X league is better when Y team is good". If that's how you truly feel then subtract the teams markets you don't want to be in championship contention.
We had 162 regular season games, a wildcard series, a division series, a championship series, and then you got your World Series. I don't wanna hear any "wah we might miss out on Yankees vs Dodgers sequel". If you're an actual Dodgers or Yankees fan then I can make sense of that but other than that why does anyone give 2 fricks about ratings? Do you want to see the best teams or just want to see certain jerseys like fashion addict?
If you truly like sports as a meritocracy to see the best teams culminate in the ultimate goal, then this shouldn't bother you. However if you seriously worry about ratings as a "sports fan", just saying you're a whore and have almost certainly taken it up the pooper.
