USAID and NGOs were exactly what we thought they were.

How did Republican governments for decades fund this atrocity.
quote:
Brussels is panicking—and for once, the reason has nothing to do with Russian tanks or climate deadlines. The real crisis is informational. It is an open secret how Europe’s so-called “civil society” has long depended on American money, much of it routed through USAID-linked programs, foundations, and transatlantic NGO networks. That money built careers, offices, media platforms, and a permanent activist bureaucracy whose main function was to police politics and impose Berkeley-style liberalism across the continent. It all changed after President Trump and Secretary Rubio all but abolished USAID, closing down an estimated 83 per cent of its projects—many of them ideological, and indeed subversive, in nature. With Washington pulling back, the EU is scrambling to replace the cash for Europe’s USAID widows.

I'm afraid the answer to that is going to lead in bad directions.

Because their palms were being greased as well.

This is going to end up being the most impactful thing from the Trump presidency, especially if tariffs are ultimately ruled unconstitutional.

We've been supporting the entire world, and that's not hyperbole.

We can arrest and try a foreign leader, but seemingly can’t arrest our own political criminals. Maybe they are all in on it together?

We have been going to work every day and paying taxes to fund our own demise. People should be held accountable in military tribunals

And voting for 2000+ page budget bills that no lawmakers actually had time to read. All kind of corrupt and leftist ideological shite slipped into those for decades... Criminals and traitors need to swing.

I assume that up to and including Reagan, "we have to prop up western Europe" was a somewhat valid reason. Especially under Ike and maybe Nixon. Until 1965 or 1970, it was a very real possibility that major western Euro nations were going to democratically vote in communist leaders, places like Germany, Italy, and France.
Bush 1 was a third Reagan term in some ways. Bush 2 was idiocy on autopilot and gave us Obama. And now we're at the present.

I do not think it is a coincidence that congressional politicians started becoming multi millionaires at about the same time they began routing funds through USAID and NGOs.

all this hoopla about 20 billion USAID.
Im reminded of a cartoon with uncle sam grabbing this little mouse labeled USAID 20 billion.......in the corner is a gorilla with 7 trillion in US spending.
Stop grabbing the shiny object and get some real DOGE going....starting with the MIC.
Well one could wish.

USA LLC
Carpetbagged for decades
And arrested if you fight against it
And George Washington was willing to kick arse over a 3% tax on tea

We apparently had senators being propped up by narco-bribes. Cassidy made the list.

Now we know what was in it...
You are right though, everyone took bribes to put stuff in.
Someone needs to go back through time and see who added what.

It wasn't a bribe, it was a business class trip to Ghana for cultural enrichment.
We already know who added what, but if anyone gets found out, they'll just blame a low level staffer that will get reassigned to someone else's office. Zero accountability.

I’m interested how you can personally attest to that.
I 100% believe the same thing, but how can you personally attest to it?

Wish that list was real, but the two down pointing fingers makes it a little sus.

Great point but Do we really need to explain that point?
