I had an old man show me that bait about 35 years ago and I still use it till this day. Usually a white one and I flip the skirt backwards. It catches everything.

No way dude… don’t you know the fish only bite on $4 baits nowadays?

Ha yea that’s what they want you to think.

Pond Bass love the Black/Yellow, we catch more on them than big spinnerbaits.
I always thought it was due to bait fish being smaller in ponds so the smaller H&H matches their food source.

I prefer the H&H cocahoe over the new ones like Matrix Shad.
Nothing beats a tuxedo H&H cocahoe.

That's all we use when we go creek fishing!

When fish are really eating a spinnerbait, I regret not having a card of H&H's

The spinners still work great.
I use the DSL baits in salt water now v feel like they move better.

Blue, white and chartreuse. Got a sleeve and a half in my tackle box as we speak.

Pond fishing with an H&H is just good living.

I’ve had friends from work go fishing with me and laugh at me when I start casting with an H&H. After I’m about five dish ahead of them they started digging in my tackle box for it.

My cousin lives on a 40 acre lake and a white H&H will SLAUGHTER the bass in the spring there. A couple of years ago I slipped the double hook off of my dad's while he wasn't looking. After 5 or 6 missed fish my dad was about to have a meltdown. He was pretty hot when he realized what was going on and saw us laughing in the other boat.

My biggest bass all the way thru college were caught on the blue pack white H&H.
My friend and I laugh all the time about how we stopped throwing the one bait that caught some of the biggest fish we've ever seen come out of their lake. Funny how that's always the case with us fisherman

Started out learning to catch trout with these nearly 30yrs ago. Still use them from time to time and they still work just like they did back then.

I always have two baits in my box : white H&H and a white beetle spin with a red dot. You won’t starve with these two.
