How many players are left on this fricking roster??

I mean Jesus Christ every 10 minutes I see a different post about some young talent leaving LSU. This is fricking ridiculous, ncaa needs to do something about this. Also Lane needs to do something all these players gone and what we have gotten 4/5 players? I mean the Utah rb we got had 1 carry this year. What the hell is going on.

This is just the new world we live in. I think Ohio State and UGA both had like 30 ish guys leave last year. I really think some folks go in the portal because it’s trendy at this point.

We were 7-6.
I guess you may not be old enough to remember the pre-free agency NFL years when the Saints were terrible.
They would go 3-11 and we all knew the next year would be just as bad because 90% of the players would be the same.
Changing players on a mediocre (bad for LSU standards) team is a good thing.

I mean aside from Durham, couple of receivers and possibly VB (just because he was the only one with experience) who left that concerns you one bit? We just had a Linebacker jump in and we also just learned we are bee lining the dude from bama. Trust the process.
Once we sign Leavitt we will have more receivers coming down the pipe and I still think Lacey winds up in BR.

Yea and a lot of those guys that go to the portal because it’s the “cool” thing to do gets screwed and nobody picks them up. Then they find themselves playing for nobody.

How many LSU players that entered the portal have actually signed elsewhere? You realize some players go into the portal to try to leverage more money at their current school and/or test the waters on what other programs are interested and how much they’re willing to pay.

This is true as well. Sometimes it’s just a “feeler” but they come back. Isn’t that what one of our centers did? You have guys that underperformed and are under an entire new staff. Some may not fit, some may have been told to look elsewhere. Calm down.
