Judge halts Trump freeze of social assistance and child care funds in 5 Democrat-led state

A federal judge on Friday temporarily paused the Trump administration’s freeze of $10 billion in social assistance and child care funding in five Democrat-led states in the wake of a widespread probe into alleged federal funding fraud in Minnesota.
Judge Arun Subramanian of New York’s Southern District granted the states’ request for a temporary restraining order blocking the freeze while the case moves forward. Also, Subramanian, a Biden appointee, is requiring the administration to remove any restrictions on the states’ ability to draw down funds in the affected programs, which provide child care, job training, cash assistance, homelessness prevention and other services to low-income families.
The coalition of states – California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota and New York – filed a lawsuit Thursday evening asking the court to halt the funding freeze. The states argue the move is unconstitutional and also violates the laws and regulations governing the federal aid programs.

I honestly have no idea how the government gets anything done. Every day another judge stepping in with a ruling. Let state taxes be used at discretion of state, federal taxes at discretion of federal government. If individual states don’t like federal allocation, have a discussion.

If the assistance is not federal it is a state issue. If it is, the feds have jurisdiction.

Federal aid programs funded by Congress via The House. Once funded, the executive branch then has the authority over distribution.
Please tell me how the move by the executive branch is unconstitutional.

It’s how the Democrat party is funded, this is a small smidgen of fraud rackets they have going on throughout the whole country.
