Still being pursued by LSU per Moscona and others.

I'd imagine he wants to start somewhere right away. I don't think he'll follow Leavitt

Agreed but I wouldn't put anything past CLK at this point.
Same dude who convinced Spencer Sanders and Walker Howard to transfer to backup an NFL QB

I think we’re his only visit so far and it’s been pretty quiet. It’d be best case scenario for sure and set us up amazingly for the future. It’s just gravy at the point but who knows

Who knows. Saw one report earlier saying he may still be an option too. Think Ole Miss had about 6 QBs last year so Lane knows how to load up on them and get them to come somehow so we shall see. Would be great to have 3 legit options especially with Sam probably out for spring practice except for maybe being able to just throw some in non contact drills. Would be good to have two legit options be able to battle it out and get full team reps and all to see how they adapt to the system.

He might have the entire spring to himself with Clark to show out. That could be a big thing towards whatever move he makes next year. He might be LSU's starter next year and if something doesn't work out with Leavitt, earlier. I think it's unlikely but it's not crazy.

Started following Jayce Brown a day or so ago… very possible we get em but dont read too much into it

I doubt it. We are set up really good at QB. Still need one more. I trust lane to bring in a development player. The money longstreet would demand should be spent on more offense line.

He comes and learns this offense. It will make him better then next year.Decide if he wants to stay or not.. You have the best coaches in college football. Why not just come here and grow. They are still gonna pay you anyway

Getting all the first team reps is significant for someone like him who's been sitting for a year.

Leavitt may be out until May and the way he plays you never know if he might get injured again and we need a very capable back up.
I think it would be a wise and productive path.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Miami jumps in the running though

I'm hearing that we got him.

Could we hold onto Clark and Longstreet going into Fall?
Posted on 1/12/26 at 8:02 pm to Demonbengal
They would not be able to go anywhere after signing so yea.

I know he might command a nice dollar but I think he’d be worth it. If his ceiling is as high as we think, then a spring with him getting #1 reps would probably be huge for him and we wouldn’t have to rush Leavitt if he isn’t ready or if he’s just rusty. Plus, leg injuries seem to linger with our players for some reason so it’d be a good insurance policy for this year.

No link player. But I hear you.

Think he has to sign with us. Apparently the bridges are burned at USC he can’t withdraw and come back their using his NIL elsewhere. His only other real option is Miami
