Could Tim Quarterman and Anthony Hickey save this team?

Johnny Jones wasn't much of a basketball coach but I'll be damned if he didn't have some good players.
I honestly think if McIdiot had these two players, we could possibly make the tourney.

So LSU (allegedly) had the cash to go out and pay multiple 5 star HS recruits when Wade was the HC, but now has none?
Or perhaps LSU has a coach who doesn't want to do any of the work to drum up the funding. "LSU" isn't paying for the players. Donors are. So go out and solicit donations rather than just hoping/expecting them to be given to you. The lady that occupies the other basketball office does just that

It was really one of the most miserable seasons to watch ever, the players seemed to really dislike each other - zero team chemistry - they end up letting Quarterman play point because he was bitching about it so much - Johnny totally lost the team.
And everyone knew because of that there was no way he could ever be an effective head coach here - he was the walking dead that whole next miserable season.

Hickey was a good pg. Would kind of go hero ball a little too much but he'll sometimes it worked. He would definitely help

Not sure anyone is out of eligibility with the amount of power the NCAA has at this point. Pretty sure everyone is a lawsuit away from being eligible.

TQ saw Simmons for the beta that he was.
The problem was TQ while an alpha didn’t have half the talent.

The Florida game popped up on my algorithm the other day. I watched the first half, Simmons and TQ argued the entire time.
