When the PMAC is half empty for MBB games for a losing program and Omaha packs in 25k or more LSU fans whenever LSU baseball is in Omaha

The fans’ actions tell you what is important

The fanbase will show up and support to anything that’s remotely relevant. The current MBB regime has not even come close to that in 4 years.

Thanks Woody.

They will. That means Verge better fire Mc tomorrow and go hire a real winner if he wants to be serious in MBB

It’s about TV money from my understanding. Men’s basketball is greater than college baseball as far as that.

I get that, but 28k LSU fans showed up in Omaha for baseball last year. How many were in the PMAC for MBB tonight?

You're comparing the championship series vs a midweek game at 6pm

You severely underestimate how little interest there is in college baseball outside of a few states in the south.

The post you replied to is making your point. The majority of basketball’s revenue, and the only reason it’s able to show a profit, are due to sources that would exist even if I was the coach and our players were 12 slapdicks from the rant.

Maybe I’m different from most fans, but I grew up watching college baseball. I saw the Warren Morris HR to win the NC in the 90s. I saw it happen again with the Tommy Tanks walk off vs Wake and the destroying of Florida in the finals. Sorry but college baseball means a lot to a ton of LSU fans, even if it means nothing to you.

There was more magic that happened for LSU baseball from the 1990s on than in any other sport

LSU baseball has plenty of die hard fans, but it just isn’t a money maker. Take your emotions out of it

You’re right. But I have seen more electric baseball games for LSU than I have football games including 2019 football. Which was incredible. I don’t care about money
