I used to really enjoy these but watching people stare at a screen all day got boring.

Nailed it. Pretty much why I've stopped watching most all competitive fishing. I use to really enjoy the explanations they would provide as to why they are fishing a particular area/technique. Now it can all be explained as "because I see them here on the screen."

No changes from 2025.
Anglers will only be allowed to utilize forward-facing/360-degree sonar for one of three competition periods per day and must declare in advance which period they intend to use it.

I hate watching TV and I do not enjoy bass fishing (just isn't my thing).

However, the one thing that I will watch religiously is MLF like a 2 year old watching Ms. Rachel.

Not sure why, but it is thoroughly entertaining and makes good background noise when working in shop/patio.

Guntersville is always a good one to watch.

Will watch it some. Prefer to watch BASS between the two organizations.
I tend to try to avoid anything that Slimy Boyd has his paws in.

This always surprises me. When I watch BASS it seems like absolutely nothing is going on. When i watch MLF, it seems like there is always a fish being caught.

I’ve been a bass nerd for 50 years I watch it all. Shaw is the next great scoper. Interesting to watch him play the game in other 2/3rds. Love the January tournament . I fished GVille a month ago. Tons of deep grass. That gonna play this week.

I am a FFS hater at this level

Don't really watch this but if they are fishing Guntersville today they are earning it. I was just outside beside Wheeler Lake for a couple of hours and it is white capping all across the river. Wind chill is 23 up here today with 15 mph winds.

.
Winter bass fishing is still new to me. I would be in 40 feet of water in these conditions. And some are but they are tearing their arse up pretty shallow in the hydrilla with ratl traps and chatter baits

I used to watch the livestream religiously but the thrill is gone. I didn’t even know they were starting today.

Haha maybe that's the trade off. I love duck hunting and turkey hunting more than anything - can not stand watching it on TV. Find it completely boring.

Then bass fishing of all things I am glued to the screen.

Makes no sense to me either

It was a little better today Andy Montgomery fished all day without his scope and caught them.

Scoping was pretty hot starting out but most of the weigh was caught on rat L traps and chatter baits. It was a fun watch today imo.
