If you can take one thing away from listening to the man speak and answer questions for about 45 minutes, he has spent the large percentage of his life in exile planning and thinking of these times.

Did you listen to him?
I’m not taking a position in any way whatsoever.
Simply that the man was prepared for this moment. I’m neither supporting or criticizing the moment in itself.

You do realize he's not Iranian or Persian anymore? He's an American with a Persian background. He might be well versed on the issues, but he's probably the wrong person to represent the revolution.....of course we don't know any of the players inside Iran

Those people in Iran are chanting one name and that’s his. If that’s who they want then let them have him

Do you think Iran people want him as leader?

No one wants the shah back except the this guy and the cia , and I’m not even sure about the CIA

You're too easily suckered by propaganda. Yes, some are calling for him to be reinstated, but not even close to all of them.
The dude has been "exiled" to a frickin mansion in Washington DC. The people there realize that be is out of touch with the reality they face every single day. A reality that looks something like this.
Meanwhile, he lounges around the pool surrounded by hooers.

I've seen a lot of videos from protests in Iran where they chant Javid Shah. This translates to "long live the king" there is a non trivial element of this protest that supports the return of the Shah.
Additionally lots of lion and sun flags are being raised. This is the flag of the Pahlavi monarchy.

This is nonsense. It's been in use in Iran since the 1400s. And it was in use on coinage and things other than banners since the frickin 12th century.

Im not going to quibble with you over details here. The last government to fly the lion and sun was the Pahlavi monarchy. One could safely assume if Iranians are carrying this flag they want a return to their previous government. A lot of people still remember what life was like pre islamic republic, this wasn't some distant past.

Quibble over details??! You're wrong by like 600 fricking years! It's one of the oldest flags on earth and is a source of national pride that has very little to do with Pahlavi in the grand scheme of things.
So they have been flying this flag since like 1427 and you're telling me that since Pahlavi also flew it that it's frickin his? The previous 600 years be damned? That's the dumbest shite I've ever heard.

If he's pro-western-civilization, has strong friendly relationships with America and Americans, is pro-freedom and the people of Iran are begging for him and rejecting the radical Islamic Civilization?
He's probably the perfect man for the job. He understands western culture and freedom more than anyone in that country. The leader of modern revolutions is a face- a voice. Not a foot soldier. It's all about the PR and morale.

The Shah died in 1980. The only takeaway is imposter syndrome.

That is well documented.
I do not wish for Iran to go back under the Shah, but I admire his commitment.

I could see Ahmadinejad having a role as well
He is not the hardliner he once was, and has spent the last decade clashing with Khamenei

OK, a guy that’s never had a job and has been supported his entire life by stolen Iranian wealth (which was the reason his father was so easily overthrown) and CIA protection.
We’re better off letting the Mullah’s VP take over.
