Recruiting Hasn't Been This Much Fun Since....

the old Saban era Bayou Bash days at the Sheraton Atrium.
I used to pay very close attention to this stuff year-round, but I swore it off after it started to get to be nothing but aggravation. The final straw was the 1 out of 5 year. I have not put myself through having to watch one of those stupid January All Star games since.
But I am back. This year has been fun. It has been like going on a winning streak at the casino. One BOOM after another.
I have been critical of NIL and the portal in past years, but now I love it.

I agree. Can’t remember the last time I was this excited. Mainly knowing the fact that now we actually have a coaching staff that is great at developing and getting the most out of their players to go along with all of the big time talent they are bringing in.

Not knocking you one bit, but gotta love how pissy this board was when players were transferring out, talking about CFB being ruined and no longer having interest in recruiting.

2009 was the funnest for me until now. But I’m slightly too young for remembering the details of the recruiting with Saban.

yep. since that Russell Shepherd class. I also remember his first year and I kept waiting to see him do something out there. This year will be even better!
