quote:

The Statement: "I think he's played his last game in a Bucks uniform," Spears said.
The Reasoning: Spears argued that due to the Bucks' struggles, it benefits the franchise to either shut him down for the remainder of the season to secure a higher draft pick or to trade him now to maximize the return, specifically mentioning the Atlanta Hawks as a potential partner with high-value draft picks.

Thoughts if true?

Gayle’s mismanagement as owner will gift the Hawks a championship similar to the gifts she allowed Mickey to give the Eagles.

Her teams are the best trading partners in the NFL and NBA.

You mean pick? Griff and Dumars took care of that.

Giannis puts up awesome numbers, but I don't think he impacts winning that much anymore and I believe he's starting to decline. The injuries are starting to stack up a lot. He needs a lot of help to carry a team now.

The Hawks are not going to give up Jalen Johnson for him. So if they acquire him, it'll mostly be a package of picks, plus matching money. Giannis would finally have to accept a move to Center and play more off ball. I don't think it puts the Hawks over the top. They just don't have enough on the perimeter and would still lack shooting. NAW just isn't enough and Dyson is severely flawed. Maybe if they partner this with another deal somehow. But I don't like the move for the Hawks.

Won’t be a 10th seed long if a certain unprotected 1st does the trick to pry Giannis.

We still have the best of the Bucks pick or our own in the ‘27 draft, I believe. Is that accurate?

2 questions:
1) Where have you been?
2) Can you please go back?

Honestly, this might be the greatest travesty of all.

How in the world did we not hold onto to both. A full pelicans and bucks tank next year, with queen and fears already in the fold, could cure all.

But alas . . . we’ll add 1 new player with any potential over the next 2.5 seasons.

The Bucks are 3-11 without Giannis and 15-15 with him this season. He greatly impacts winning and this news is huge for their pick that we own
