Gotta win at least 12 of the next 20 and we most likely get a national seed.

I like what Pearson and Arambide add to the lineup. I’d like to see improvement from the first base position, but I say we get there.

17 wins and we host regional. Possibly top 8. 18 or more wins in conference I think secures both. Hoping a comeback road victory is what we need to ignite this team to go on a run

18 is almost always a top 8 lock. The SEC is pretty even this year so I expect the league standings to be close.

Win tomorrow and then off to Oxford. Win 2 out of 3 there and I can see this team finally finding their footing.

That’s typical with a Jay team.

I think a super regional appearance would be a nice finish to the year. Maybe more. We’ll see.

I would be happy with 15 or 16 wins.

I would be happy with a Top 16 seed and a regional at home

Not being a smartass but I think you meant Dardar instead of Arambide. Arambide is playing his least amount of the season currently

LSU is like 2 pitches away from winning their first 2 SEC series as well.

I personally think another dog pile at the CWS would be a nice finish.

Order of finish in the conference will mean more than # of wins. Top 4 will get National Seeds.

This team is talented - there's a reason we were picked first by many who do such for a living. The angst is typical of what you often see amid a long baseball season. Teams evolve and develop differently.

Now are we the best team in the country? Not sure I see the pitching, but I didn't think we had the pitching back in 23 and they proved me wrong in the post season.

I think here's your pitchers you can trust by the time Omaha rolls around:

Evans
Moore
Schmidt
Cowan
Sheerin
Guidry (1 inning max)
Garcia
Fontenot
Lachenmayer

Definitely would want to be in a spot like last year where we stay in the winners bracket the whole way.

Back in 23 there were in my memory 2 or 3 guys that stepped up in the post season that to that point I would not have said I trusted them very much in leverage moments. We'll probably need that again.

I will be nervous beyond belief if we have to use Rizy in a pressure situation in Omaha. He has the potential just hasn't put it together, not even close.

Our IF is so much better than it was just a few weeks ago. Pearson has been underappreciated but he has really changed the IF and Dardar is stepping up as well. We still need a better 2 strike approach from Dardar and the bat will come around for Pearson (i think hes just been hyper focused on his defense). The nice thing is there's still room to get better from Caraway and Arrambide. I dont see an answer at 1B which is kinda crazy to type out. If we get Moore back and Rizy takes the Shores route and figures it out in a month then we will be pretty dangerous. I still don't think the ceiling is there for this team but it can still be a good season

Rizy is who he is at this point.

I honestly thought Rizy almost had it pulled together yesterday. I think if Jay leaves him in, he might have gotten out of that jam.
