I’d flip those if I had to guess. Green 7 and Weeks 18

I honetly hope Lane does away with number 7. 18 has a more meaningful, team first tradition and I feel like the players that get it don't feel a pressure to perform. Number 7 is a look at me tradition that causes almost all of the players that wear it to have a worse season than they are predicted to have.

Agree but like 7 shouldn’t be take out of the rotation completely. Somehow the number needs to be stripped of its current meaning and so that it’s just viewed as what it is… just a number

Maybe if it means getting rid of you.

But seriously, why are grown men so bleeding vagina mad about a tradition in LSU football???

This place gets sooooo pissed about these two jersey numbers more than they do about the uniform stripes not matching.

Who cares as long as we don’t have to take on any Ole Miss traditions?

A good tradition whose time has passed.

My opinion... I'm not one way or the other on the 18 & 7. Has no appeal to me. Doesn't really matter to me who wears them or if they keep them.

Dumbass... you're the one crying over a number that kids wear. Hell.... you probably have more than one jersey in your closet.

7 has only been a thing for ~15 years and 18 is even dumber if you actually believe Mauck “passed down” his number to a guy he never played with when it’s obvious Hester randomly got 18 and, as a fellow plucky white guy, brought back memories of Mauck. They obviously go along with the story because its nice.

The basketball goal will wear the #18.

7 died with Jonathan Giles. Let it go.

We could keep 18, but I don't feel strongly either way on that.

Honestly, I hope Kiffen gets rid of it. Especially having 2 numbers that are special. It just makes them both less special. It needs to go the way of Big Cat drill, which is extinct.
