quote:
Jack Elam described the arc of his acting career: It goes like this, the director says “Who’s Jack Elam? Then it's "Get me Jack Elam." Then, "Get me a Jack Elam type". Then, "Get me a young Jack Elam". Finally, "Who’s Jack Elam?"

Alan Rickman as John Marston in Quigly Down Under.
Not a evil genius super villain or anything, but I always thought he was still pretty bad-arse.

She was such a good villain that viewers cheered for her for 7 seasons

I always thought Toby Stephens was underrated as a Bond Villain. He was just over the top enough and just serious enough for me to enjoy it. Underrated Bond Movie IMO as well. Fantastic opening scene. Maggie Smith's son. Halle Berry, Rosamund Pike, Rick Yune etc. Great mix of a Connery and Moore Bond film feel.

Most evil/best villain Disney ever created (and with far and away the best song of any villain). Made in the 90s but has a frightening number of modern analogues (to say nothing of the history that inspired the character)
