Yeah, people hate on Spirit, for good reason sometimes, but its hard to beat their dirt cheap ticket prices.

It was good while it lasted. Turns out $40-$60 dollar fares aren’t possible to turn a profit with.

Don't really care that much in a vaccuum, but it probably will bring up the prices of other flights a bit.
Plus now the trashy people who used to be on Spirit will now be on other flights.

Some of Spirit's former clients will probably now be unable to afford to fly at all. But those that are able to stretch their saving and save up enough income from their low wage job to go on a vacation about once a year will unfortunately be on other flights.

The government should step in and allocate money like welfare programs ONLY so everyone else doesn’t have to fly with the people who fly Spirt.
