Eta - After reading it, pretty meh, honestly. Could see some of it happening, but for all that to play out in a shortened season it's hard to imagine.
I did think the Ice Dragon was a bit overkill, but I want the battle between the living and the dead to be as epic as possible. Dany needs to die, along with all the Lannisters, minus Tyrion. John should be King, Sansa Wardenness, Bran next 3ER, Lady Mormount Hand of the King, Brienne head of KG, and Sir Bronn gets a better castle and hotter wife.

the end game of this story has been obvious for some time now...its the getting there that the writers need to make compelling. sounds to me like they are on the right track
