Saw someone mention TPC Sawgrass 17 as the most iconic Par 3 in the world in another thread and got me thinking about the most iconic Par 3, 4 or 5s. What do you have as your most iconic?

I'll go with....

Par 3 - #12 at Augusta
Par 4 - #17, the road hole, at St. Andrews
Par 5 - #18 at Pebble Beach

17 at sawgrass for the reason that people who don’t follow golf at all recognize it. I was never interested in golf until 2018 but even when I was 12 I knew about the island green.

Definitely agree with #12 at Augusta. That is more iconic than #17 at TPC Sawgrass in my mind.

And truthfully, #13 at Augusta would get my vote for the par 5.

Don't have any really strong opinions about the best par 4. Road Hole is a good choice, as is #18 at St. Andrews. Maybe #8 at Pebble.

18th at St. Andrews is better than the road hole. Yes, it's cool to hit over part of a hotel, (aim for the "O" in hotel) but you can't see the hole, or most of the fairway. 18th is awesome. People lining the street and taking pictures on the bridge. Green is almost stadium-like surrounded by people and hotels. It is truly amazing.

Look I know it’ll never be on most people’s top anything lists, but having played it and seen it in person at sunset, the 15th at Chambers Bay is stunningly gorgeous.
