Did it yesterday, 17 at Kiva Dunes, 191 yards

What a waste of a great shot for par

Btw this needs a name

It would be a 3 on my scorecard but I'm telling all my buddies "I hit a hole in one on this one" everytime I play that hole from now on.

That shot probably isn't much more common than an actual ace. Getting a small ball into a small hole from 190 yards away is still impressive.

Did the same thing here at local muni. Par 3 157 yds. Hooked one left ob, dropped another one, hit it, nothing but cup. Hit the front lip/cup on the fly. Longest par I have ever made with one shot.

That’s a very long par save.

This may happen less than an actual ace.

It’s a cool story, think of it this way, there are less people around that have done that than have hit a hole in one!!!

Also random side story. A buddy of mine did this, playing a practice round by himself, hit his first ball in the bunker, took a mulligan and hit the next one in, he wrote down a 1 on his scorecard.... Guys around him saw it and came up all hyped and he even claimed it as a hole in 1, at least he fessed you to his friends afterwards and didn’t try and get it verified by USGA or anything. Still, lying bastard

I had a friend do that once. When his ball went in the cup another guy in our group turned to him and said,”Nice par, a-hole.”
That shot is now known as the Nice Par a-hole!!

It is bitter sweet, especially if you have never had an ace. 45 years and still waiting.
Hole-in-par on the 130 yard par 3 6th at Kissimmee Bay GC in Central Florida.

I’d bet there are far fewer threes like this than holes in one.

Hole in one doesnt have to mean hole in first shot! Technically, you got a hole in one shot... took 2 attempts.

Happened to me at 17 Santa Maria. First one in the drink, second one right of the pin, took the slope and disappeared.

I made a "hole in 3" after an OB shot on #6 at Shenandoah years ago.

Was playing like 215.

Didnt know how to react. Still have never made a hole in 1.

Staying at and playing kiva at the end of august. Really looking forward to it! However it’s just me and the wife (no pics) going. Any chance I can play as a single out there or will they pair me up with another group?
