It literally rains every fricking day, multiple times a day. Maintenance guys can't make a dent.

Is it this way in Baton Rouge or on the MS coast?

I mean I haven’t lived in South LA for 10 years but this describes every summer…..
Looking at the radar it’s only 40% Friday, I’m in town supposed to play TPC, fingers crossed

Definitely have to play as early as possible and be ready for long, cart path only rounds.

The Mackel tourney this weekend will most likely have similar situation and 5 hour plus rounds.

Yeah I'm hoping they avoid rain so we can be off the paths, but not likely. Could make for long days.

It seems that you have to get it in before 10am for a full round or you'll get drenched.

Imagine it's the same all over the southeast. Been a pretty wet summer.

It’s rained every day for about 3 weeks in the FL panhandle. Luckily the sandy soil here drains pretty well. My group just watches the radar like a hawk and we book a round after work if we can get a dry 4:30-7:30 window

Same thing in southeast Texas. We've had two tournaments this summer that were supposed to be Saturday/Sunday get rained out on Sunday and they named the leaders on Saturday the winners.

This year has been the worst I can remember. I'm in Lafayette. It has rained pretty much every day for 3 or 4 months straight. I can only play on the weekend due to work and kids, and if it somehow doesn't rain during the week, you can bet your arse it will pour all weekend long. I know May this year was the second highest total rainfall in May recorded in Lafayette history.

I can't remember the last dry round I played. Maybe in February or March. And I play every weekend. I haven't been able to warm up on the range prior to a round in at least a month and a half. Range closed and cart path only all the time.

It's really starting to wear on me, I am really sick of it.

Same here.

I bought PGA 2K21 on sale to help with withdrawals

What sucks is I finally figured out what the hell has been wrong with my swing after a few years.

This is the wettest summer in recent memory. My house in EBR had one 24 hr rain free period the whole month of June.

Rained all week. Only 60% chance tomorrow and 50% Sunday. Maybe I can at least get some putting in.

We have had a total of one MGA event played all year here at Moneyhill. Our member member has been rained out 3 times now. We have had 60+ inches of rain so far this year. Course is walking only again this weekend. Having swung a club in a month. Definitely the most rain I can remember and I lived in LA for 40 years. I’ve just kinda given up and decided to take a break I guess. Sucks

I teed off real early. 5 hour round. 35 putts and a solid 80. Course is soaked but considering the amount of rain it was in respectable shape. Hope you played well.
