oooof. this update man.

Played my weekly Sun Belt rebuild game as ULL vs Old Dominion. shite was about as scripted as it could get. Yeah, I could successfully run a bit better. But there was no stopping OD. OVR 81 Dual Threat QB housing a 70 yard scramble while trucking 2 of my players. And it was like they were given my Offensive playbook. No one was open, ever. Missed 2 XPs. Pass Rush was insane. A complete shite show. Lost 38-34.

My receivers just can't get open or catch, even against mediocre defenses. As soon as I turn on conservative catching they get wide open for a walk in touchdown and fall to the ground after catching it

Loving this update. I wish CPU could run a little better but still an improvement from what it was.

Losing players that need less than what my recruiting grade is. Lost 90 Ovr RT due to having B+ conference prestige. Player on only needed B

Got an issue with the time stoppage on CFB 26. I'm sure this was a thing in CFB 25 but someone help me wrap my head around this.


Playing against a user in dynasty league.

End of the game ( I was up 14-or 21 the entire game).

Onside kick (less than 3-4 minutes left but this happened the entire 4th quarter)


I would get the ball and run clock. His guys were getting hurt almost every snap, which stopped the game clock. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but when an injury occurs, the game clock is ran when the ball is placed (unless there was a score, out of bounds play, penalty, or timeout).

I literally couldn't run the clock. Every play there was a stoppage because he kept his hurt guys in the game and they kept getting hurt. He ended up almost coming back and winning because I couldn't run clock.


Please tell me this is a bug and not a feature. There is no way that's how it was last year in real college football right ?

I think the real life rule is centered around "after the ball being spotted".

Either way, I played a game the other day where the CPU had 8-9 injuries on a drive where I was trying to end the game. They kept all of their timeouts through these injuries, but eventually used them basically giving them 12 timeouts

On another note, why are there damn near 15-20 injuries per game? That and every single one of them is a "high" risk for re-injury if you don't sub.

My starting RB gets hurt at least once a game with a high risk of re-injury. Sometimes he sits one play, other times he misses a series. Then he’s back like nothing ever happened. I think k it’s just super randomized by the CPU.

The CPU has an uncanny knack for having an injury after every play when I’m trying to run out the clock at the end of close games. Makes me think that Lane Kiffin was programming this game

I just bought a refurbished PS5 for cheap, it works, downloaded NCAA as my first game.

I’m way behind yall but it took me a long time to stop throwing picks. I’m a risk taker in general but shite no matter how I lead my WRs my QB would throw a god awful shite pass.

I realized that I had turned off the “powered passing” or whatever it’s called. I had turned on classic, ever since I went to the regular mode, where you hold for power, I’m much better.

Blocking sucks, I’m sure that’s been said. Having not had NCAA for like 20 years, is it better once the season starts and they update rosters?

I had to turn injuries down. Too many Lane Kiffins in this game.

no joke...i was nursing a 1 score lead within the last 3 minutes of the game and there were 6 injuries in 6 consecutive plays.

Finished year seven of my dynasty. Four straight national titles at Bama. My freshman QB won the Heisman.

Finally making the jump to HC - accepted the LSU job. They haven’t been to a bowl in a couple of years. The recruiting class was pretty much in place but it still placed top ten.

Was hoping my QB would jump in the portal. Instead I’m stuck with a 78 overall with no one behind him.

What happens from week 3 to week 4 of offseason/portal recruiting that completely tanks dealbreakers?

I am constantly losing recruits because even though I have only 2 QBs (or whatever position) on the roster, when we get to week 4 something has changed and playing time goes from A to F.

Not sure, but I do think that Playing Time is also affected by the number of players at the position you have on your recruiting board. How many QBs are you currently recruiting?

random shite seems to happen on this game and I mentally reconcile this with the fact that weird shite happens in real life college football as well. And often times it comes out of nowhere
