It was always Kelly's plan to go light on HS recruiting and take more guys from the portal.

The national On3 guys think LSU is working from behind with Martin and that he’s trending to Bama. It’s very early tho

To add to this, Shea alluded to the fact its likely a one or the other with Miles and Martin.

Alfred Blue

This, very close to his size and weight. When Blue left LSU he had added 20lbs of muscle. Jayden has a frame to add more weight.

Is he the RB that fumbled against Karr?

I don't think it's the right strategy and expect CLK to sign 19-23 HS recruits/ year

I think you’re right. His last 4 HS classes at OM were: 16, 23, 23, 21. I can see it tick up to the 25 range, but I think he’ll be picky on his takes and not make offers just to hit a number. So it will vary.

Reminds me some of Nick Brossette.

So he’s extremely average?

Nic Brossette led a team with Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson and CEH in yards from scrimmage.

Watched his highlights. Tall, upright runner. Good speed, but not a second gear type. Looks like they used him in the pass game a lot.

Reminds me of Jeremy Hill; although, he was thicker coming out of HS (around 220)

I would've loved a Nic Brossette the last handful of seasons. Classic don't know what you got til it's gone.

I mean he had over 1,000 yards and 14 TD his senior year. I wouldn't say that's average.

Brossette ran through people in high school. Miles runs around them and avoids contact.

6’2” 200 Ib RB from Catholic HS Sam Spiegelman put in a prediction at 60 for him to land at LSU

Did we ask Frank Wilson if it’s ok to take RBs from Louisiana?

I’ve watched every game he’s played in the last 2 years. He compares the best to Leveon bell. He’s so patient behind his blockers and then explodes through the whole when it opens up. Cuts on a dime and can catch the ball extremely well, even can split out as a receiver. LSU needs this guy

Thank for sharing. This sure sounds promising. Especially, coming from a guy that has been at his games.

To be fair, he only had to get 40 transfers in because he had almost 40 transfers out, which is expected with a coaching change.

I would guess typically he’d only want 15-20 portal and maybe the same HS.

I expect lane to do a lot better recruiting in the highschool ranks. If Kelly could get some blue chips as lazy as he was, Lane is going to crush it.
