The level of competition is not the best, but neither is the surrounding talent. My biggest concern is wins and losses, if this guy was a guaranteed starter, at that level, his team should be better than Elon was this past year, and a 56% completion rate is just not ideal.

Bigger schools signing portal players and less HS players. These kids have to go somewhere. They are falling through the cracks. He may be one of them.

As a backup, sure. I don't know if he's got the arm to make big time SEC throws though. I didn't watch all of the highlights, if there is an example of good arm strength in there point me to it

He has a little Pavia in him though. Short guy, tough, swag.

On his 2:25 mark of his 3:30 highlights in the OP, he threw a ball from his own 10 to the opponent's 30 so a guy who can throw the ball 60 yards isn't shabby. I have also said your Pavia comment as I called him a "discounted Pavia". I don't think he is good but he is in the general talent area.

I don't know how large the Miami qb is, but arm strength was not impressive.

Maybe as backup or as depth. Every lower school kid isn’t going to be Chambliss. Fools gold thinking it would even be remotely close

True

Nor is every 5 Star gonna be a Joe Burrow
Trust the 2 coaches that can see talent and develop it.

If I am that kid, given our current QB situation and our coaching staff, I just walk in and say where do I sign and can you direct me to my apartment?

I'm convinced some of y'all wake up each morning saying, "what can I bitch about today?" The kid is getting some serious interest and his tape is, quite frankly, more impressive to me than Sorsby's was. I said that 4 days ago. Some things translate fine and his feel for running, and his arm strength, are both there.

Trinidad 6'0
Drew Brees 6'0

Ya'll sound goofy worrying about a person height.
