Noot has to absolutely be back. He has the talent to get drafted and not take a UDFA contract.

Noot still has leverage being a rs soph and is in position for a spot in the weekend rotation. He’ll get a lot of innings next year anyway. No doubt in my mind he’ll be back.

Odds of LSU bringing in either Moore, Volchko, or Reddemann?

I’d be a little surprised if we didn’t add 1.
Reddemann > Moore > Volchko
Reddemann > Moore > Volchko

That is the mystery. Right now it is roster at 34 by 12/1. Being able to RS up to 5 would be nice.
What is the rule on the players you can designate to not count against the 34 man limit? I know they have a window to transfer after 12/1, but if they don't are they allowed to play? Or just be on the roster?

I'd think a RHP and/or RHH OF/UTIL. Either or both of those would make a really formidable roster.

Logan Reddemann, RHP, San Diego, SO, #62
2.29 ERA, 55IP, 44H, 14ER, 12BB, 53K, 1.018 WHIP
So is he not heading to Eugene with his pitching coach?
I realize we probably don't have room for him at this point... dont wanna see him end up in the SEC tho

You make room for a guy like Reddemann.

He’s currently dealing in the cape. 2.55 ERA in 17.2 IP, 5ER, 18K, 2BB.
Want.
Want.

I’m eager to know something on Fontenot, Simpson, Benge, and Beck

That’s what hasn’t been clarified yet

Not recruiting related, but with Moffett signing with the Cubs, plus shores, Bucknam, and Dutton getting drafted, it will mean only two pitchers that threw for us in 2023 won’t have pro experience, yet. One is Hellmers, who won’t. The other is Gavin Guidry.
So far, 15/17 pitchers on that team that actually pitched that season have either pitched in the minors or are about to. And another one that was on the team and didn’t pitch has already thrown in the majors.

Not sure if this is the space to ask it or not, but whats the obsession over beck the last few days been about? Feels like people are treating him as a luxury bat that we could gain. Is everyone basing that on one at bat this past season? Feels like itd be hard to justify giving him a roster spot with our numbers and he’d be a depth piece at best, but maybe im missing something

2026 commit Cooper Sides has transferred to Curiels old high school Orange Lutheran. It’s notable because Sides is from around Chico, an hour or so north of Sacramento. He’s moving to a high school in Orange County.

That truly is amazing. The injury luck that staff had while persevering is one of the most underrated pieces of that season.

That's what I figured. Just making sure I hadn't missed something.

I haven’t been one to post about it yet. But I personally like Beck. I think he is a really good hitter, ball player, and teammate. He was unfortunately stacked behind a loaded first base and outfield and never got a chance to really play. With more opportunity to play, there’s no doubt that Beck could put up some good numbers. Jay has talked highly of him. Jay said it was no accident that he put him in the position he did in the Tennessee game bc of the way he performed in practice. If he was good enough to make the travel roster this past season, I want him back.

I'm going to see what I can dig up on the transfers. I have been researching Caraway this morning..
He was highly regarded hitter coming out of HS. Top 100 prospect that could have been drafted but elected college instead. Good pitching prospect but has more potential with the bat.
Was off to hot start as a freshmen in college until he broke a finger bunting put an early end to his season. Hit .339. Had a very good offseason in the cape in 2024. Was a draft eligible sophomore coming into 2025 but seemed to lost his mojo. He had six HR's in the postseason but the regular season didn't go as planned. .268 and 6 HR's during the season.
Was a top 145 prospect in the draft but went undrafted. 6.60 runner in the 60 but MLB says he is not a runner. Seems like a contradiction to me, so we will see on that. Doyle says he has good speed but he is stiff. Good arm, no worries there. Projects mostly at 3B, MLB says he is good defensively but Lester Earl mentioned he had a few errors. Good bat speed and power, mostly to pull side.

Wouldn’t have said it, but you referenced Taylor: you left out Noot
But I agree that’s astounding and Noot will likely just add to the list
