Sorsby's season highlights, he's def a gamer. Has a good touch on his pass, don't know if he's gonna have the windows that he had to throw in the SEC but he would be my pick if Chambliss isn't coming

Yes I have and the true recovery time is 8-12 months and very few athletes have recovered in that time frame and been Anywhere near 100 percent and most lost considerable mobility. So you want to invest millions in a kid that you have no idea what playing shape he will be in by the time the season starts? That smart!

He won’t even be ready for Clemson game people need to do their damn research on this injury

Sorsby gained a lot of attention early on, much like Holstein at Pitt

I had the occasion to bet Cincy in a couple of games mid to late season, and admittedly the defense played poorly, but Sorsby had his worst games too.

We're not finding out anything on Chambliss until Ole Miss is out, likely New Years Night. I'm still pinning my hopes on working something out with Leavitt that allows him to fully heal, learn the system, and take over completely in '27

Lane is after Leavitt, the top rated QB in the portal, he clearly knows the injury and recovery is less severe than this board thinks.

You can guarantee that LSU has his medical records and his doctors on speed dial.

I’d say that everyone here has none of that.

Is that just speculation?

mean, couldn't Dante Moore decide to return to Oregon for another season? They might not even be in the market for a QB

He could, but he’s also projected as a top 10 pick.

There are rumors that it’s down to Oregon and LSU, it’s very likely the origin of these rumors is Leavitt’s representation.

Everyone needs to understand that Lane Kiffin is not going to risk his first season at LSU with an injured QB.

Exactly.

I think he should return for another season because he’s 20 years old and doesn’t have a ton of starts in college.

Since Leavitt announced going to portal LSU has been reported at the top for him consistently. I doubt it's speculation. LSU is probably contacting every top end QB as the OP's post suggests.

Of all the QBs in the portal right now outside his injury, he's easily one of the best fits for Lane's offense so all those reports are probably true. Talent wise he has a lot of NFL potential too. I can see why Lane would be in love with him if he doesn't get Chambliss.

a re injury of a tough injury could totally ruin the 2026 season for LSU. Not worth the cost or the risk imho.

Todd McShay claims via sauces that Moore will do just that.

I'd take Mestemaker #1, but he's going to Oklahoma State with Morris. (His North Texas HC) Sorsby or Leavitt are 1A and 1B. Chambliss is not going to be eligible, so forget about him. Lagway.......No Frickin Way!

Definitely don't want lagway although I think The Trane could develop him.
