Well, ive gathered that both QBs are heavily linked to both LSU and Oregon, Leavitt's agent is kind of a pain to work with so we might be trying to force his hand while also maybe going after somebody we want even more especially if we offered DW 6 million. Who knows whats actually going on at this point though, just lots of everybody trying to use leverage everywhere it seems

Which is why this random Arizona writer leaking this story when it did leads me to believe it's someone trying to screw over Kiffin and LSU.
Alternatively, Leavitt may be dragging his feet signing and Kiffin is trying to leverage him into signing.

Nah he probably just heard the scuttlebutt and now that it’s out in the open he decided to let it rip
I think there’s an excellent chance that info was correct at one time. But he may not come here given we are looking at Leavitt and other QB needy schools with deep pockets will probably approach that number as well.
