Its mid January and im having more fun than at any point during the season

The recruiting board has been a blast.
LSU and Lane are almost too compatible.

I've been more entertained the last two months than I was all of last year or last offseason.

I thought they’d never replace the thrill of the Bash.

But here we are.

This whole offseason has been the best I can ever recall.

From the Lane hire & wildest Coaches Changes Board drama, to the satisfying Signing Day sweepstakes, to the 17 Day (& counting) Portal Season rollercoaster. (And no one has been kicked off the team, arrested or shot...so far)

The afterglow from 2019 championship was indeed awesome in 2020 with the incessant GOAT team praise, WH visit, etc. but COVID fricked up that whole offseason & season(s) to come.

I would agree with you if this season turns out to be less fun then the offseason. But since this is the first off-season under Kiffin before his first season, this being more enjoyable then previous seasons under a different regime is a good thing. Bright future ahead. Trust the process.

Not adapting with the times. I think the man just wasn't built for the pace of this new era. Even Saban bowed out rather than deal with it. Luckily it seems we now have the coach most adept to the new rules.

Intrinsically I hate this whole NIL/transfer portal model where these kids get millions and also unlimited free agency.

But it’s obvious we are going to be one of the very few big winners in this new model CFB, so what the hell, bring it the frick on.

I mean, I will disagree, but one of the best things is seeing a kid who isn't a mercenary succeed. NIL and the portal have certainly lessened my desire to follow it all.

That and he did the math and saw there was no point in working harder with a guaranteed buyout. So might as well get drunk, golf, and phone it in.

In all fairness…..he didn’t have 38 vacant roster slots to fill and $25,000,000 to fill them with!

The Bayou Bash will be a real possibility if NCAA pushes signing day back to February.
Mid term students can still enroll in school in January and then sign. We just had a HS player that did not sign early enroll in school.
Kelly dumped the Gridiron Club which put on the Bash. I do not know if it will be brought back.
