One guy doing this doesn’t make it automatic, but getting the right QB to fit your system can elevate them over past performance too. I don’t even think Howard is amazing, but again, he was a great fit for their scheme and had much better talent around him.
If Kiffin and Glasscock see that in Sorsby to the tune of $5 mil, then I’m with them based on their track record.

If you think he's a good QB you've never watched him play. His defense is the reason Miami has done well this year. Beck is the sole reason they have multiple loses. He threw 5 ints in 1 game. They've realized best to try him in a game management situations due to how good his defense is.
The user above is complaining 5 million on Sorsby and Beck makes more being the definition of mediocre. Miami has an elite defense that's why they are where they are not because of Beck. Their lines are very good.

If they pay $10mil for Brendan Sorsby then go ahead. I really like him but no chance he is worth that. $5 mil seems absurd but I get it, from there load up around the guy and get a lesser known raw talent
