The lineup is a battering ram. Just pound on you until you collapse. Seems like there's pressure every inning, and often enough they break through.

So that's a realistic 8 more innings to score more runs.

Fewer. One was done in the 8th. And we wouldn’t be batting the 9th at home with a lead anyway.

Four more, assuming we were winning each game. 7 if we were tied or losing going into the 9th.
We were the home team in all but this last one. We would have batted 2 more times without the mercy rule against UCF (8th and 9th innings), 2 more times vs Milwaukee in the 3rd game (7th & 8th innings).
In the first game vs Milwaukee and the game vs Nicholls, we got to the 10-run lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, so we would not have batted in the bottom of the 9th unless we were tied or losing.
If we were tied or losing in all our home games, it would add another 3 inngs so that would be 7.
I prefer it this way.

Based on my math we have had 68 innings at the plate. Assuming that’s correct we are averaging 1.42 runs per inning. Not to mention that Jay has played around with the lineup a lot at the end of some of these games.

I can remember the rant losing their minds so often with pulmonary teams that would swing at every first pitch and swing for the HR when you just needed to move a runner over. Bravo JJ!

Multiple Run Rule games probably kept the numbers from being even better.

My prediction is Mason Braun will be your first baseman before midway through the SEC. Cerna, Pearson and Reaves will be platooning as PH.
