When you’re making $50 million a year, you have to have a better attitude than that
Geez
If you wanna win
You got to give up some of your money so I can go to other players???
Winning is much funner than getting beat and beat up
That’s what he’s going through right now

Sigh. Time to educate again. The bengals had 30 MILLION in cap space after signing everyone this year. That doesn’t include restructuring burrow for 10 million in savings. So in total 40 MILLION in cap space went unused this year. They could have signed multiple high level defensive FA this off season as well as tee and Jamar and just didn’t.

Where are you seeing 30 mil? I see 11 mil cap space for this season.

See my other reply. To add to it. The bengals currently pay signicant money to Joe, jamarr, tee, and Trey. That’s it. Everyone else is moderate to low cost. Meanwhile teams like the eagles have 2 huge wr contracts, paying hurts just as much, Barkley, the most expensive o line in football, and a stout d

He does seem different from his LSU days. He doesn't seem that in to football lately.
Injuries will do that.

That’s after they loaded up treys contract this year, and then put upfront money to chase and tees contract. Additional signings during the year as well. If they wanted they could have easily had 20-30 mill to play with. The point is they have all the cap space they could want. He’ll next year they are starting FA with 90 million. They just don’t spend money.

Is this really the case? I don’t see his Instagram because I don’t have one? He’s posting pics with babes hanging all over him?

He should have never resigned with them. He showed enough in his first contract. He could have went anywhere.

He hasn't played enough to be burnt out because he's always hurt. I think he's more burnt out on being hurt. If he wants longevity in his career, he knows he needs to leave Cincy.

Ive always felt like Joe would retire young. Ge’s always been his own person and made no apologies about it. Cincy never giving him a decent OL has obviously taken the love of the game out of it for Joe. If he doesn’t get out of there I can see him hanging it up in the next couple years. He’s taken care of his money VERY WELL so money won’t be a factor for him. He can walk away now and his chikdren’s children will never need to work.

He left the greatest experience of his life at LSU and ended up in Cincinnati.
He seems very unhappy. Hopefully he gets some help.

Football is getting in the way of his modeling career! I like him for what he did for LSU but he’s a prima Donna, Rivers was right about him…

Not really. He and his long time gf broke up last year after it was speculated they were engaged. After that he was linked to 1 social media influencer but that’s it. Wonder if he is missing that stable relationship tho.

Joe has let his ego get in the way. Instead of letting others that are more qualified make decisions, he made them- specifically Higgins. He thought his talent and buddies was enough to just outgain everyone else. Well there’s a bunch of other pros in the league that take their job serious too. He’s damn good, but not that good.
I’ve taken up for him many times but it’s gotten old at this point

Could we not All see this coming when the Bengals drafted him? How they couldn't protect a talent like Joe and build around him is perplexing.. he literally put the franchise on his shoulders and basically turned water into wine winning the AFC in his first full season as a starter..
