I’d be sick if I’m ND right now. Because they can feel secure all they want but we all know damn well if Bama goes to South Bend for a playoff game, the tide will beat the shite out of the Irish.
Knowing how smug Irish fans are about BK leaving and mocking LSU right now part of me wouldn’t mind seeing a 3 loss bama team beat their arse.

The committee is a bunch of puppets like Biden. Someone higher up is calling the shots. If it were a true committee, no way Bama gets in.

Agree but they will have a hard time doing so if it is close since they said they wouldn't punish teams in conference championships. A close loss and SMU is in imo

Alabama will be in the 12 team playoff every year because Bama is always in the Top 12.
AND if Bama is on the "bubble" of the Top 12 then the system will make some mysterious moves to PUT Bama in the Top 12.
If one can't accept that, then one should question one's college football fandom.

Bring back the BCS formula and apply to th e 11 team playoff. This the only fair thing. But that will never happen because they cannot manipulate that.

If you don't think ABC and ESPN wield pressure on the committee, you are foolish
They want tv ratings over anything else and Bama gives them that over any of the other teams in the mix including if SMU loses to Clemson
