Which would seemingly make him a good fit for McMahon's teams

I feel much better about the program now that we’ve a Top 500 player from Australia. SMFH! Maybe the combination of the old Australian and the older guy from Israel will make one helluva of guard combo.
You McMen are right McCantWin just needs time, more money, and patience. By the time his contract is up and these 2 players are in their 40s WE will slide right out the cellar of the SEC right into the 10-13 slot.

I heard this kid was going to be committing soon ab a week ago . David Patrick is telling people he is the best point guard in the world , no lie . These fools are really doing anything to get another year

The previous offensive football staff and HC was doing the same thing all the way up until their firing. This doesn’t mean anything.

The sad thing is it has a non-zero chance of working.
If McMahon is retained you may see some poor student workers in the ticket office standing at the intersection of Bluebonnet and Perkins begging for people to buy season tickets.

Looks like CMM will be back next year
Someone on the recruiting board told you this wasn't true but you decide to come make this dumb thread anyway.

He didn't sign anyone. It's just a commitment. But even if he did sign, it doesn't mean anything because he (and any other player LSU signed) would be let out of their LOI if McMahon is fired.
Hes already signed with LSU and enrolled in classes

I'm not saying you are wrong, but every report says he "committed" to LSU, not signed. Plus, the last date to register for the Spring semester was in January. Has he been in school all semester but his "signing" is just now being reported?
There also seems to be some contractual issues with his pro team:
quote:
Owen Foxwell re-signed with the South East Melbourne Phoenix on a two-year deal last year and is contracted through the end of the 2026-27 NBL season. However, if he finalises a commitment to LSU, the club would likely receive a buyout.

Does this mean he can work down low?

Hold on. We are going to have to pay a buyout to get this player. Please tell me we aren't going to approve this deal until after April 1st.

Because they barely gave him a chance to play.
Did you watch him play and actually think he needs more playing time?

The question is what do you have to lose by at least trying something different? As I mention, LSU is 15th in scoring in conference games in 15th 3 pointers made. They are also 2-12 in the SEC.
If this were the beginning of SEC play or LSU was in contention for a tournament bid, then maybe it would be a different discussion. But LSU has been effectively out of contention since the end of January. What is the harm is trying something different when what you are doing CLEARLY isn't working?

Because you have seen him play agaa net inferior competition. Why not play walk-ons? Defense can’t get any worse right? Already nearly last in scoring. Better blow gilhools redshirt too, I hear he can shoot the 3 from the corner.

Again though, who is responsible for getting players to campus and having a guy who is not up to the competition level taking up a roster spot? The coach.
The player evaluation from this coaching staff is like everything else in this program under McMahon: subpar.

Do you ever get tired of trashing basketball? Like we get it. You have made your point.
Here is a stat for you: your last 149 posts have been shite-posts about LSU basketball and or McMahon. We are all fatigued. Maybe sit out a few plays. Take a few breaths. Go find something else to be angry about.

They need to keep on keeping on with all the gimmicy freebies. It's putting butts in the seats of the PMAC, as shown in recent televised home games. More effective than the $2 ticket admission price.
The current vibe of LSU men's basketball has eerie underpinnings of The Real Hallman's (not McHallman) last two seasons as football head coach.
