but I liked what I saw from Miller last night.
He had 5 turnovers in 20 minutes in a game that was never close. There was no pressure in that game. That is alarming.

Just some big misses on players in the portal
seems possible those misses were due to low payroll. I dunno how we can rule that out. for all we know he wanted better players and simply couldn't afford them and they went elsewhere.

I am completely ignorant to the budget or deals that the players get.

Are the headlines always going to be about McMahon? Can we just appreciate the TEAM if they continue on this trajectory? For McMahon it's make the tourney or break this year, nothing more nothing less. Eye test is telling me we have a 5-6 seed team here.

eeping Nwoko off the court
He’s not in good enough shape strangely to play additional minutes. I was in Destin right behind bench. He’s gassed after 6-7 minutes . That rotation is too thin to win

Thank you for your input Matt.

This isn’t common sense, my kids would call it glazing someone’s who’s buns or cheeks.

Holy shite in a retarded thread this has to be the most retarded thing posted.
14-40 in sec play 2 basement finishes no tourny appearances. There is nothing solid about MM

Only a loser hopes LSU loses so a coach can be fired.
If it's evident from several years of results that a particular coach isn't the answer for the program, then it's better he get fired sooner rather than later.
This applies to ANY coach in ANY sport at ANY school.
I felt this way late in the Johnny Jones era, and the same for Trent Johnson.
And the same for McMahon.
Better to have a terrible year, fire the coach, and bring in someone better, than have the team do just well enough to have the coach linger for years, knowing he'll never get us to where we all think we should be.
Short term pain for long term gain.

Just a bad coach who can’t recruit. You need to let your denial go.

The pro McMahon threads always age like milk

I could not have been more frustrated than I was last night in regard to the defense, the lack of urgency and energy out of the gate and the flat out refusal to do anything differently to adjust, but sit back in our standard stay in front man and not do anything to put pressure on a below average offensive team in SC....just let them get open look after open look and not even try to cause turnovers or to disrupt the offense.
The Cocks had 6 turnovers total for the game!!! 6!!! And it wasn't because they are great at taking care of the ball. It was that we refused to put any pressure on them that might force them to do so.
No traps, no doubling the post. He would put on a token man full court pressure - and pressure is a huge exaggeration here - and then back off as soon as the ball was entered - it was maddening to me.

Oh wow.
This thread was a literal bat signal for all of the mediocrity loving, legitimately stupid people that think Matt McMahon is a good basketball coach

Just curious, but did anyone listen to McMahon's comments after the game? For laughs I'm wondering what his excuse(s) was. I'm guessing it went something like: We need to play better... but... it's really hard when you don't have your starting PG...
